Property listings that are staged properly for the buying public are hardly functional, but rather cosmetically, aromatically and theatrically appealing to buyers. The idea is to look “settled but not too settled.” Buyers need to believe that you are not going to take the first offer that comes your way but they also need to understand that you are prepared to move quickly when the right offer comes. Also, with proper staging, investors will be deterred from wasting your time with low offers. These low offers can be very discouraging to the seller, but aggressive home staging serves as an “investor repellant.”
